AEC was contracted to prepare construction documents for various improvements to the Columbus City Hall's HVAC system. The overall goal of the project is to renovate the existing system while at the same time, preserve and complement the historical features of the building. The scope of work will also include upgrades to the building's standpipe and sprinkler system, plumbing drains, venting system and electrical system. Although LEED certification is not required for this project, the design team is adhering as close as possible to LEED standards and Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman's "Green Memo."
