Advanced Engineering Consultants, Ltd. received Awards of Merit from Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) for concept design for the $44M Sensors Directorate Laboratory Addition / Alteration project and for the new $12M Security Forces Operations Center project, both to be constructed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton.

The article address general approaches and downfalls associated with integrating photovoltaic and wind turbine systems into existing electrical distribution.

AEC has been awarded a three-year ID/IQ contract for providing multi-discipline A/E services for projects at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). The new contract is with the Defense Logistics Agency.
