Leadership

Lisa Huang, PhD, PE, RCDD

President Emeritus
After decades of working at large engineering firms, Lisa founded AEC in 1998 working from the basement of her home. Starting out with just electrical engineering services, Lisa quickly added mechanical and plumbing engineering services as AEC’s reputation began to take hold in the industry. Lisa’s incredible determination and passion lead to the growth of AEC over the 23 years of sole ownership, before generously transitioning the company to employee-ownership. As President Emeritus, Lisa continues to support AEC through maintaining industry relationships and providing guidance to AEC’s leadership team.

Gavin Lim, PE, LEED AP BD+C, LC

President
Throughout his career, Gavin has managed hundreds of projects to successful completion and overseen a highly productive electrical engineering team. His experience, knowledge, and commitment are shown in all aspects of his responsibilities. Through thoughtful conversation and a vision for AEC’s future Gavin was named President of AEC in 2021. Gavin’s focus for moving AEC forward is rooted in fostering personal and company growth, and to start each workday with motivation, humility, and sense of responsibility.
