2011 AEC News Highlights

December 2011

Congratulations to Jason Jones and Jordan Steele, who both recently became licensed Professional Engineers. Jason and Jordan are electrical engineers in our Columbus office.

November 2011

Ben Biada, PE, LEED AP, CEM, recently passed a test certifying him as a Project Management Professional (PMP). This credential is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is know as “the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP ® demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct projects.”

April 2011

AEC was selected for an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This $9.5 million, 5 year contract will include design services for military construction projects and studies as well as civil works projects or planning efforts.

February 2011

Ben Biada, PE, LEED AP and Colin Todd, PE, LEED AP recently passed a test certifying them as Certified Energy Managers (CEM). This credential is administered by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and “recognizes individuals who have demonstrated high levels of experience, competence, proficiency, and ethical fitness in the energy management profession.”
