AEC received three excellent client reviews this month. From the USACE Tulsa District, we received Very Good ratings for our work on an HVAC Ventilation/Free Cooling and Roof Repair project. The contract officer commented “AEC put together a good team to prepare the plans and specifications for this project. The quality of the design was very good… The charrette and design review meetings were very professional, timely, and informative. The management team stayed flexible to the User’s needs during the entire design preparation phase.”
From the NASA Langley Research Center, the AEC-Emersion JV received Exceptional ratings for our work on a Preliminary Engineering Report and Conceptual Design for the Structures and Materials Complex. The contract officer commented “AEC-Emersion has performed exceptionally well across the board on this task but it has been the Quality of their work that has made them shine the most. The contractor proposed means and methods for meeting our requirements that went beyond what was required in our SOW… Their technical competence combined with their unique ability to build a great rapport with our researchers combined to result in a series of exceptional quality deliverables for NASA.”
From the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, we earned a 95 / 100 on our evaluation for mechanical work under the Statewide Lodge Improvements project. The contract manager stated “AEC has been great to work with. They worked closely with CMR, Lodge and DNR staff to determine the best design approach which would provide ease of maintenance and standardize the equipment with current availability. While requiring some expansion of the wall openings this design approach saved the project a substantial amount of money bringing the GMP well below budget.”
Thank you to our engineers involved with these projects. And Thank You to our clients for the opportunity to work on these projects and strengthen our relationships with each of you.
