Facility performance is AEC’s top priority. Through the commissioning process we work to ensure that building services are complete and functioning properly upon occupancy. Using our expertise in sustainable design and engineering design we will conduct a full evaluation of the building’s systems and provide recommendations for improvements that will meet the owner’s needs.
AEC has provided commissioning services for both new buildings and existing facilities (retro-commissioning). We have also provided ongoing commissioning services to ensure building systems continue to work efficiently over the expected lifespan. AEC engineers are familiar with AABC Commissioning Group standards, as well as LEED Commissioning requirements and the documentation process required to achieve LEED Enhanced Commissioning status.
Our team includes several Certified Commissioning Agents (CxA), Certified Energy Managers (CEM), and LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP). These individuals work closely with the project owner to review the scope of work, discuss any issues with the facility, and define facility goals to ensure a full Commissioning Report is produced to meet the Owner’s expectations.
