Fairfield Inn at Port Columbus International Airport

AEC was part of a design team that was selected to prepare construction documents for a new Fairfield Inn & Suites at Port Columbus International Airport. The new four-story, 66,148 sq. ft., 121-room hotel is located just outside of the airport͛s terminal building. The new hotels’ transition to a Gen4 hotel for the Marriott brand features amenities that are highly attractive to airport travelers, including an expanded indoor pool, an updated fitness center and a 34-seat cocktail lounge with full-service bar and outdoor patio area. AEC was responsible for providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology engineering design services for this new hotel. Construction cost was approximately $12.2M.
