AEC was part of a design team that was retained to provide services for the renovation of an existing 14,575 SQ FT suite. The renovated suite will become the new Neurology Suite. The suite includes 26 clinical exam rooms, 10 research exam rooms, infusion bays, research space, clinical and research office space, conference rooms, break room, restrooms, and waiting/check out area. The design repurposed portions of the existing layout to maintain project budget. The project was broken into two phases to meet project deadlines and to get the suite up-and-running in a timely manner. AEC was responsible for the design of the mechanical, electrical and lighting, plumbing and fire protection engineering systems. AEC also provided construction administration services for this project. Construction cost was approximately $3.8M.
