AEC was part of a team that provided M/E/P engineering services for various renovation projects as Riverside Methodist Hospital. Projects Include:
Five South Restoration: Completed permit and construction drawings for this $950,000 design/build project. Scope included major renovations to the nurse station, general use spaces such as patient shower areas, public waiting and toilet areas. New lighting was designed for both corridors and patient rooms. EHR capabilities were designed for all patient rooms and necessary fire alarm and sprinkler upgrades were performed.
New Infusion Facility: Completed permit and construction documents for renovations to house a new 1,550 square foot space to facilitate an infusion treatment center. Alteration of the existing space required the extension of new emergency power, normal power, telecommunications, nurse call, HVAC, plumbing and medical gas.
Tomotherapy Renovations: Completed permit and construction documents for renovation of an existing treatment room to house new medical imaging equipment. New Liebert units were installed to provide dedicated, conditioned air to spaces, new telecommunications, normal and emergency power, plumbing, nurse call, public address and intercom systems were installed to support the new space.
