Purdue Memorial Union Renovation

AEC was retained to provide mechanical, electrical, and telecommunication engineering design services for the renovation of the Purdue Memorial Union to create a new Visitor Information Center. The project involved the renovation of 4 rooms into office spaces, conference rooms, and the visitor center. AEC reworked the existing telecommunication and electrical systems to accommodate the new spaces and the addition of interactive kiosks in the visitor center and designed a new HVAC system that focused on energy conservation, safety, convenience, reliability, and comfort of the building occupants. Purdue News featured the renovation and a walk-through of the space.
