AEC was contracted to provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the new modified entrance to the Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center. The project includes a 1,000 SQ FT addition to the 2,000 SQ FT main entrance.
AEC was responsible for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection designs including installation of an additional HVAC system and all required plumbing, new energy efficient LED interior lighting, egress and exit lighting, new general convenience receptacles, a new snow melting system, extension of automatic sprinkler system, new fire alarm devices and communication outlets, and new CCTV cameras. AEC also conducted a life cycle cost analysis comparing two types of HVAC systems. The analysis also addressed outdoor air infiltration concerns.
