Franklin County Sheriff’s Training Facility

AEC was part of the team selected to prepare construction documents and provide construction administration services for a new training facility for the Franklin County Sheriff’s office. The new 24,500 square-foot building includes administrative offices, classrooms, a large multi- purpose room, a conference room, fitness and locker rooms and specialty spaces where deputies can train for different scenarios. AEC was responsible for providing HVAC, Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, Access Control and Telecommunications engineering design services for this new facility. Construction cost was approximately $5M. The building achieved LEED Silver certification through the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
