As part of an ID/IQ contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, AEC completed a design/build task order for an electrical distribution system controls upgrade at Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. Work included upgrading two substations with new vacuum circuit breakers, protective relays, and monitoring for breaker status, switch operation counter, voltage amperage, and overload protection. AEC was responsible for overall project management and electrical engineering for this project. AEC received and overall “Outstanding” performance evaluation.
